Safety is a high priority at Christ’s Church. We don’t like to think about potential tragedies happening in the security of our walls. And we pray that we’ll never have to respond. But we owe it to the people who step through our doors to prepare for anything.
Christ’s Church has recently updated its security systems and will be holding a training session on Sunday, February 25, 2018, after the church service. Lunch will be provided. The training will end about 2pm. During the training, we will walk through our new security plan, demonstrate how to activate an alarm if an active shooter has been identified, hear from Officer Mike Knox on how to respond to situations, and receive training from Bill Woods on how to operate our new AED (automated external defibrillator).
*All are invited to attend, including other churches and local businesses.
