I grew up in Merrimack, NH and joined Christ's Church with my family in 1986. During my summers as a teenager I traveled doing short-term missions work to many different places including the Bahamas, Pakistan, Brazil, and Western Europe. I graduated from Concord Christian High School and then went on to study Youth Ministry at Baptist Bible College.

After graduation I joined the staff here at CCA in September 2002, serving as Pastor of Student Ministries for about 5 years. In December 2007, I took on the role of Distributed Pastor to Namibia with the goal of pursuing how we might expand our partnering relationships with our friends overseas. I will live in Namibia for a year serving alongside our partners and learning more about youth ministry in a different culture. You can follow along with updates, prayer requests, and photos on my African Travel Blog.

Some of my hobbies include photography, playing guitar, and songwriting. I enjoy many sports like volleyball, skiing, ultimate Frisbee, and one of my personal favorites, freestyle walking. I love football, playing and watching, especially my 3-time World Champion New England Patriots!

I love hanging out with teenagers. God's given me a passion for seeing young people grow into maturing disciples of Jesus Christ. I also enjoy using my musical gifts to lead others in worship and connect with teens who are musicians.

I love to read. Some of my favorite authors are John Piper, Donald Miller, Brennan Manning, and C.S. Lewis. I also enjoy reading the old writings of past saints such as Henry Scougal, Jonathan Edwards, and G.K. Chesterton. You can see some of my latest reads on my Current Reading List.
