The Lay Counseling Ministry of CCA (The CARE Team) is but one manifestation of our desire to be Christ-like to those who struggle along the way.

Our ministry of lay counseling can be seen as a specialized form of discipleship: one hurting member of the body of Christ seeking support and guidance from another.

By coming along side people with prayer, listening, and the encouragement of God's Word, we seek repentance from sin, healing for brokenness, reconciliation of relationships and the empowering of the Holy Spirit for daily living.

The ultimate goal of our ministry is to witness the development of mature Christians, who are not only walking closer to the Lord, but ministering to others as well.
