Core Values
|
|
Worship - Matt. 22:37-40, Psalm 92, 1 Cor. 10:31, Rev. 5:13, Rom. 12:1-2
|
|
Our
aim is to develop students who see their lives as a call to worship.
Our sincere desire is to see them grow in their closeness to God
and in expressing their love for Him in collective worship and in
their everyday lives. |
|
Personal Ministry - Matt. 28:18-20, Eph. 2:10, 1 Peter 4:10
| Our
aim is to lead students to understand and embrace their God-given
uniqueness and their spiritual gifting. We desire to provide opportunities
for them to discover and to apply their gifts in furthering God's
kingdom. We desire to unleash and assist them in areas of ministry
about which they are passionate. |
|
|
Scripture - 2 Tim. 3:16-17, 1 Peter 1:23-25, Psalm 119
|
|
Our
aim is to foster a thirst and a deep appreciation for God's Word
in our youth. We desire to see them grow into a healthy Scriptural
maturity, accepting God's Word as their authority and applying it
to their lives. |
|
Partnering - 1 Cor. 12, 1 Peter 2:5-9, Eph. 4:7, 11-13
| Our
aim is to encourage and facilitate our students in connecting with
other believers while growing in Christ and building the kingdom.
We desire their development of a healthy Scriptural perspective
on the universal body of Christ, and their recognizing that they
have a unique role to play. |
|
|
Generational Leadership - Deut. 6:1f, Psalm 22:30-31, 78:4
|
|
Our
aim is to encourage students to value the wisdom and insight that
every generation has to offer. We desire to facilitate an environment
of intergenerational mentoring relationships. We desire to provide
and environment in which they can serve alongside adults in meaningful
capacities, in the everyday life and ministry of the church. |
