Mike Knight While youth ministry at Christ's Church has been Mike's passion for the past 4 years, underneath it all few people know of his secret obsession for free-style walking (well, not so few anymore). Flag football is enjoyable. Guitar is entertaining. Apples to Apples is sheer amusment. But there is nothing quite like gliding down a congested sidewalk, soaring over a trash can or pulling a 360 toe grab off an unoccupied park bench. If you've ever felt the rush of a sick curb stall with a 270 heel grab combo then you know just what I mean. Between aerial tree stalls and 180 wallrides Mike also enjoys such sports as penny surfing, deer chasing and foosball. In his free time Mike is preoccupied with traveling, jamming on his guitar, and reading (check out Mike's current reading list here). Indeed. |

Germaine St. Cyr Germaine has been involved in youth ministry at Christ's Church for over 6 years now and enjoys every moment of it. Germaine is not a big fan of writing autobiographies but Mike made her do it (even though Mark wrote a great one for her). If you click on her name above you can read another one that Darin made her write a long time ago. Currently she spends most of her time working on websites, planning trips to Namibia and seeing what she can do to make Darin's technical dreams reality. Michael Mendola Mike grew up in Amherst and has been a part of the body of CCA since he was a child. Growing up he enjoyed participating in the junior and senior high school youth groups. After graduating from Souhegan High School, Mike attended and graduated from Bentley College in Waltham, MA. After graduation, he moved to Milford and began working with the senior high youth group in September of 2002. Mike says it is fun to interact and play games with the kids, especially those who he can remember being very young children, and some who he occasionally baby sat for. Mike's most rewarding aspect of being a youth group volunteer has been the ability to observe the spiritual growth and maturity of the youth of our church week to week and year after year. Outside of youth group, Mike enjoys sponsoring and praying for children living in poverty, personal Bible study, listening to Christian music, the beach and strength training. |

Jesse & Lisa Andreasen Jesse is a CCA youth Bible study alumni who couldn't stay away. He began working with the youth in 2004, a year after Lisa made Christ's Church her home and began helping out. Jesse grew up in Amherst, and Lisa grew up in Merrimack, but they did not meet until Jesse came home from college for a meeting for the 2004 mission trip to Namibia... The rest is history. Pastor Darin, Germaine and others like to think they paired up the happy couple, but there's just something about Namibia. If you'd like to hear the story of how the Lord brought them together (or anything about Namibia), just ask, they love to tell it. They both serve on the worship team and Jesse is one of our fearless leaders with a gift for the guitar and writing music. Lisa is a graphic designer and spends most of her spare time behind the camera while Jesse strums away on the guitar. |

Kevin & Sonciary Honnoll Southern boy meets New England girl in Tennessee (of all places). They can't get enough of each other, so they decide to get married. Journeying to New Hampshire in 2005 they found Christ's Church by God's blessing. They both began serving on the worship team soon after, though Kevin can be found more often than not conducting audio science experiments in the sound booth. They are both passionate about music and art, good times with good friends, good stories and singing the most random of songs. They went to Namibia, Africa in 2006 and the people they met there changed their hearts and minds. Kevin makes Sonciary smile and she makes him smile too. It's all good. |

Amanda LaFave Amanda just graduated from Baptist Bible College where she had two amazing years. She loves to work with children and that's what she will be doing in her first "real" job.
Some of her favorite things to do are playing her "geetar", reading a good book, and most of all spending time with her amazing friends. Her favorite animal is the great white shark (there's just something about all their big white teeth:-) She loves Namibia, Africa and is hopefully going to be there for the entire upcoming summer. She appreciates beauty and loves looking at God's creation. Her current lesson is learning what fearing God and not fearing man means, because we all know that God is far more "hugemongous" than anything or anyone. You will probably hear her say stink, pretty much, and wicked a lot but you will get used to it. Heb. 10:23. Life is a Journey, seize every moment. |
