Begin With Prayer

Every person wants to be a part of something bigger than themselves. We hate to feel like we are on the sidelines looking in. But given that “thoughts and prayers” have become a punch line for inaction, does prayer really have a place in making a difference in the world? Could it really be considered a meaningful way of getting involved?

The Secret of Happiness

Life is full of interruptions, frustrations and disappointments. Sometimes it doesn’t feel like God cares about our happiness on this earth. But that’s not the case at all. Building Bridges

We want to invite people into an experience with God, but we don’t want our invitation to turn people away because there is often a disconnect between Christians and those who are not people of faith. Discover how we can relate to all people in a way that values them and invites them into a meaningful experience without pushing them away.

The Lord’s Prayer: Thy Will Be Done

James 1 and Matthew 5. Sometimes it’s difficult to ask for God’s will to be done because we can’t see the whole picture and we are not in control. But if we realize that God’s will will be done, one way or another, we can release everything to God and just say “It is well with my soul.” God is the one thing that never changes in both good and bad weather.
